Born and raised in Rochester, New York, Michael King has earned a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts from Lesley University and Master of Arts Degree in Leadership Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso.
Michael retired from the US Army in 2015 after 21 years of active federal service at the rank of Sergeant Major. His work is a reflection of his experiences as a career soldier and life after the Army.
Michael works in Pittsfield, Massachusetts as a case manager with the Pittsfield Veterans Outreach Center. He lives in Lenox Dale, Massachusetts with his wife Jessica Cote and their children.
